Created in 2016, the Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers program grants classroom wishes to teachers across the state of Arizona. The Fiesta Sports Foundation saw that many teachers spent their own money to enhance their classroom experience and developed a program to aid teachers in that effort. For the past 10 years, Wishes for Teachers has granted $9.7 million to more than 3,100 Arizona teachers, impacting more than 1 million students across the state.

Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers has two tracks of support for Arizona educators: School Wishes and Teacher Wishes. Learn more about both opportunities below! 
 

Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers is excited to bring back School Wishes for a second year!

Principals and district administrators of Title I public or charter K-12 schools across Arizona are invited to apply for the opportunity to renovate or transform a space on campus, whether it's a classroom, library, auditorium, science lab, art room, wellness area or more!

Applications for School Wishes closed on Friday, May 29 at 5:00 p.m. PST. School Wishes will be selected by Fiesta Sports Foundation. Selected schools will be notified in the summer with the public announcement occurring during the school year.

As a way to support, celebrate and honor Arizona educators, K-12 public or charter school teachers are invited to fill out an online application detailing their $2,500 classroom wish. Wishes are selected by a random drawing to receive a $2,500 grant through DonorsChoose. All wish recipients become part of the Fiesta Sports Foundation family and can participate in community events throughout the year.

Teacher recipients are selected at random and notified during the Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers Draft Day presented by SRP.

Applications for the 2026 Fiesta Sports Foundation Wishes for Teachers program for Teacher Wishes will open on September 1, 2026 and will close on September 30, 2026 at 10:00 p.m. PST.
