SCOTTSDALE, AZ (June 16, 2023) – The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will celebrate its 51^st annual staging on Saturday, December 16, at 10 a.m. Recognized as Arizona's highest-attended single-day event annually, the parade will march down its traditional two-mile route through Central Phoenix and will be broadcast live on Arizona's Family 3TV and across its digital platforms.

This year's Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe theme will be "Spirit of Competition," and will feature larger-than-life balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands, community groups and more. Annually a combination of more than 3,000 men, women, children and animals participate in the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe.

Interested participants and groups are encouraged to submit an application to be one of the 65 parade entries by clicking here. Applications must be submitted by July 31, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MST.

Admission for the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe is free to the public, with premium and reserved seating available for purchase in September. For those interested in premium and reserved seating, please email tickets@fiestabowl.org.

The Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe will kick off Bowl Season activities, followed by the Guaranteed Rate Bowl on Tuesday, December 26, at Chase Field in downtown Phoenix and the 53^rd Annual Vrbo Fiesta Bowl on Monday, January 1, 2024, at State Farm Stadium.

This year's Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Parade presented by Lerner & Rowe Grand Marshal will be announced in September. Al McCoy, who recently retired as the "Voice of the Suns" following 51 seasons, served as the Parade Grand Marshal in 2022. Other celebrated Grand Marshals include Alice Cooper, Charles Barkley, Jerry Colangelo, Randy Johnson, Cal Ripken, Jr., Kerri Strug, Diana Taurasi, Chuck Yeager, brave firefighters, Olympic gold medalists and history-making astronauts.
