SCOTTSDALE, AZ (August 18, 2025) – With another exciting season of college football about to kick off, tickets to close out the season at the 2025 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl are now on sale to the public. With a berth in the CFP National Championship on the line, the CFP Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl will kick off on January 8, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. MST at State Farm Stadium.

This is the fourth time the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl will host a CFP Semifinal, the last two being classic games that were not decided until the game's final play. TCU defeated Michigan, 51-45, to advance to the 2022-23 CFP National Championship Game and Clemson battled back from a 16-0 deficit to defeat Ohio State, 29-23, in the 2019-20 season.

The 55
th installment of the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl features two winners of the CFP Quarterfinal games, with those four games being held on December 31, 2025, and January 1, 2026. The 12-team CFP field will be announced on Sunday, December 7, and the CFP First Round games will take place on December 19-20.
