Fiesta Sports Foundation is deeply saddened by the passing of Jim Meyer, one of our beloved Founders who was a cornerstone of our organization and whose impact will continue. Jim's unbridled passion for the organization came shining through whenever he shared the Fiesta Bowl's history with new staff, Yellow Jacket Committee members and to classes at his alma mater at the University of Kansas. His commitment went far beyond the game itself — he understood how the power of college football created opportunity to help elevate Arizona on a national stage. We are profoundly grateful for Jim's numerous contributions since the time he joined as the youngest founder through attending our recent Rate Bowl kickoff dinner. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Karen, and his entire family. Jim will always be a cherished part of the Fiesta Bowl family.
