Fiesta Sports Foundation Grant Recipients

At the heart of the Fiesta Sports Foundation is a simple mission: to enhance organizations that contribute to the success of their communities through youth, sports and education. Through its two annual bowl games in the Valley, the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl and the Rate Bowl, as well as community events throughout the year, Fiesta Sports Foundation has selected 16 Arizona nonprofits through its 2025-26 Grant Cycle. Over 1 million Arizonans will be once again positively impacted by the Fiesta Sports Foundation Grants and Legacy Projects!

Ability360 | Ability360 Youth Adaptive Sports
Funding will provide four youth adaptive sports clinics. Ability360 coaches and staff will also visit local schools to demonstrate adaptive sports in the community. The grant will also support Ability360 youth wheelchair basketball, the Narwahls adaptive swim team, and youth power wheelchair soccer.
Arizona Adaptive Watersports | Access to Adventure-The Adaptive Dock Project
With the funds, Arizona Adaptive Water Sports (AAWS) will build a permanent wheelchair accessible patio/deck for adapted athletes, families and volunteers to gather and prepare for activities. The funds will also be used to build a permanent storage unit to secure expensive adaptive equipment.
Boys & Girls Club of Bisbee | Elevate: Building Capacity for Bisbee Youth
Funding will support the build of an overflow recreation room that will expand the Club’s capacity to serve youth during afterschool hours, weekends, and summer programming.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale | STEAM Spirit
The grant will support the ongoing operations of our Makerspaces in eight sites located across the Valley and Peach Springs.
Cactus Wren Little League |Growing the Game: Field Safety and Access Grant
Funds will be used to purchase and install sod on three existing baseball fields, ensuring a safe playing surface for their youth athletes.
Delivering Dreams of Arizona | Delivering Dreams Bus
Funds with support the purchase of new wardrobe packages, hygiene items, and tote bags for impoverished children in the Phoenix Metro Area.
Easter Seals Blake Foundation | Outdoor Therapeutic Space
Funds will create a therapeutic outdoor space designed to meet the unique needs of children in Pima County. It will support children receiving behavioral health services by incorporating nature, movement, and creativity into their therapeutic journeys.
Friends of Camp Colton | Empowering Youth Through Outdoor Education at Camp Colton
The funds will provide transformative outdoor learning opportunities for youth facing barriers to access—ensuring all children have the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through experiences in nature.
Helen's Hope Chest | Helen's Hope Chest - Resources and Support for Foster & Kinship Families
Funds will be used to purchase new athletic apparel and gear for foster youth and supplement boutique inventory—ensuring children have the essentials they need to participate confidently in sports, build self-esteem, and feel included.
HonorHealth | EKGs for the HonorHealth Sports Medicine Youth Screen, Prevent, and Respond Program
The funds will support the purchase of portable electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to enhance our high school sports physical exam events. These EKGs will allow HonorHealth to provide cardiac screenings to over 1,000 youth in the first year, helping detect life-threatening heart conditions and prevent sudden cardiac arrest.
Native American Fatherhood and Families Association | Transforming Tomorrow’s Youth Native College Readiness Program
The funds will support Native youth in Maricopa County and on the San Carlos Apache Reservation expanding programs with focused educational support to amplify existing mental health services.
Positive Coaching Alliance | Mental Health & Leadership Development for PCA Youth, Sports & Education Initiatives in Arizona
PCA will deliver workshops on mental health, empathy, equity, character, and leadership, part of a larger initiative that will provide 150 workshops statewide over one-year, impacting 70,000 coaches, parents and athletes in Arizona.
UMOM New Day Centers | UMOM Family Emergency Shelter Boys & Girls Club for Youth Experiencing Homelessness
The funds will support UMOM's annual cost for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley's contract to provide youth programming services at UMOM New Day Centers for one year, including school year and summer program services, as well as staff, supplies, and equipment.
USA BMX Foundation | Youth BMX STEAM Program
The grant will support the implementation of curriculum in five elementary schools within the Greater Phoenix Area. Each school will receive a complete STEAM Kit that includes BMX bicycles, helmets, tools, and instructional materials to engage over 500 students in hands-on, project-based STEAM learning.
Valley of the Sun YMCA | Ross Farnsworth East Valley Family YMCA Field Enhancement
The funds will support the installation of a permanent fencing structure around the outdoor turf field to meet safety guidelines and enable usage for YMCA programs and community partner organizations.
Valley Youth Theatre | Literacy and the Arts (LTA)
Funds will be used to provide books, guides, and live theatre, improving literacy skills through visual reenactments, benefiting 1,000 K-8 students in Title I & Title I-eligible schools in metro-Phoenix.

Arizona Council on Economic Education | Financial Fitness in Action
Funds will support their Financial Fitness in Action program which equips high school students with vital financial skills for adulthood. Funds will support students in navigating life decisions tailored to their desired careers, applying acquired skills in finance, math, teamwork, and communication.
Arizona Recreation Center for the Handicapped (ARCH) | Going Places
Funds will support ARCH in acquiring a new 11-seater vehicle to increase transportation capacity for youth in the ARCHKids program, which opens access to their campus programs, social activities and community outings for participants from all over the Valley, providing them with an overall better quality of life.
Arizona Science Center | Immersive STEM Learning Programs for Underserved Children
Funds will allow Arizona Science Center to provide 1,000 K-8 Title I students with free Focused Field Trips and their teachers with free Pre-Visit Workshops in addition to more than 800 PreK-8 Title I students with free Science on Wheels programs in the 2024-25 school year.
Autism Life and Living, Inc. | Life Skills for Lifelong Independence for Youth and Young Adults with Autism
Funds will support Autism Life and Living’s Life Skills for Lifelong Independence for Youth/Young Adults with Autism, which enables vulnerable individuals to gain the fundamental life skills they need for self-reliant daily living and lifelong success.
Barrow Neurological Foundation | Barrow Concussion Network Elevated Post-Injury Care Project
Funds will support the Barrow Concussion Network’s equitable post-concussion care to all Arizona student-athletes, regardless of socioeconomic background, which empowers athletic trainers as frontline concussion specialists by enhancing education and resources.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley | Boys & Girls Clubs Co-ed Sports Leagues
Funds will support BGCAZ Co-ed Sports Leagues, providing youth, ages 5-to-18, with organized and seasonal team sports participation. Funds would be used for BGCAZ staff, facilities rental, coach training, team uniforms and other costs for Co-ed Sports League programming.
Camp Catanese Foundation | Summer Camp Session Expansion
Funds will support the expansion of Camp Catanese, a comprehensive college-preparation program for first-generation college students in Phoenix to allow them to serve more students.
Child Crisis Arizona | Making the Outdoors Accessible to Underserved Youth
Funds will provide a transformational camp experience to youth with special needs as well as repair and replace educational signs related to nature and geography that are part of the camp.
Chiricahua Community Health Centers, Inc. | Chiricahua’s Mobile Sports Physicals and Care for Secondary School Students
Funds will support Chiricahua’s mobile teams and will ensure that no student misses out on this opportunity for lack of a sports physical as well as screening and treatment of health concerns that impact academic success for students.
Creighton Community Foundation, Inc. | Loma Linda Legacy Soccer Venue (LLLSV): Empowering Low-Income Phoenix Communities
Funds will support the development of the Loma Linda Legacy Soccer Venue (LLLSV). In communities suffering from a lack of outdoor recreational spaces, LLLSV will promote increased youth and community member interaction, physical activity and sports participation across the Phoenix metro area.
Elevate Navajo | Elevate Navajo Youth
Funds will be allocated towards sustaining the Navajo Teacher-Mentor program, enabling them to deliver accredited classes within public schools, provide ongoing mentorship outside of school hours and organize enriching activities throughout weekends, vacations and during the summer break.
Gabriel’s Angels | Pet Therapy Program
Funds will support Gabriel’s Angels Pet Therapy Program through training and support of three Therapy Teams which should provide services to 1,500 youth in need.
Gamers Outreach | Project GO Kart
Funds will support Gamers Outreach portable gaming units, which gives youth and families in hospitals access to gaming systems and empowers hospitalized families through play.
Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank | Meals to Grow Weekend Backpacks
Funds will support Weekend Backpacks which will provide all meals for a student over the weekend. The grant will provide hunger relief and nutrition to youth so that education and extracurricular activities can be enhanced.
Mikey’s League, Inc. | Game On! Expanding Opportunities for Athletes with Disabilities
Funds will be used to expand their flag football programs into the West Valley, providing two seasons of inclusive play, and to host a specialized football clinic for athletes with disabilities outside Maricopa County. This initiative fosters inclusivity and community engagement through sports.
Miracle League of Arizona | 2024-25 Uniform Sponsorship
Funds would be used to provide all Miracle League baseball players, both new and returning, brand new uniforms to assist in providing a fun, safe, and successful baseball experience for individuals with special needs.
Muscular Dystrophy Association | MDA Arizona Summer Camp and Youth Outreach Programs
Funds will be used to cover expenses associated with MDA Arizona Summer Camp and MDA Arizona's Youth Outreach Programs, which include Lou Gehrig's Day at the Diamondbacks where children attend for free and a holiday party.
Positive Coaching Alliance | Mental Health & Leadership Development for PCA Youth, Sports & Education Initiatives in Arizona
Funds will support the youth sports culture for the Underserved Schools, Girls Flag Football initiatives, Native American Communities & Youth Sports Organizations through Positive Coaching Alliance’s programming.

Funds will support critical maintenance of their home, allowing Ryan House to comfortably house children with life-limiting or terminal illnesses.

Funds give Special Olympics athletes access to inclusive sports programming allowing for the transformative power of sports training and competition to instill confidence, improve health and inspire belonging.
The Opportunity Tree | MakerSpace for Youth in Casa Grande with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Funds will support the build of the Fiesta Bowl MakerSpace for youth and adults with IDD at their Casa Grande facility. MakerSpace will provide hands-on learning in marketable skills as well as designing and building adaptive equipment to meet their unique needs.
Tooth BUDDS, Inc. | Mobile Dental Hygiene Services for Maricopa County Youth
Funds will support the purchase of a cargo van to bring preventive oral health care to underserved, low-income children allowing Tooth BUDDS to expedite their efforts and increase their capacity to provide services throughout Maricopa County schools and community-based sites.
American Red Cross of Central and Northern Arizona | Educating and Empowering Everyday Heroes: A New Generation of Blood Donors
Funds will be applied to supporting their Blood Saves Lives programming in Arizona, specifically targeting educational efforts in Arizona schools and universities concerning the constant need for blood donations and underwriting the cost of several high school blood drives.
Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation | Fostering Success for Children in Arizona Foster Care
Funding will provide awards to children in foster care for athletic activities, tutoring, camps, prom expenses, classes, swimming lessons and other extracurricular activities that are not funded in any other way.
Arizona Science Center | Hands-On Science Discovery Programs
Funding will provide immersive STEM learning at no cost by underwriting planning, materials, and delivery of Focused Field Trips and Science on Wheels for students, and the expansion of visitor engagement activities throughout the Center.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona, Inc. | Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Arizona New Youth Mentoring Center
Funding will contribute to the purchase and renovation of a building in central Tucson to provide an activity and mentoring center for the youth in their programs.
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley | Girls Got Game at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley will add female-focused sports leagues to its Youth Sports programming. This investment will impact more youth and serve them better while creating equitable access to sports with 400 youth having the new opportunity to play in two female-focused sports leagues.
Cartwright Elementary School District | Cartwright Mobile Scoreboards
With this funding, Cartwright School District will purchase large, mobile, indoor/outdoor scoreboards for five of their campuses. These scoreboards will have the flexibility to function at all sporting events because of their durability and mobility.
Children's Museum Tucson | Fiesta Bowl Charities Bodyology Exhibit and Tours
The exhibit and tours connect children, families, and educators who have limited access due to distance, physical limitations, financial hardship, and parental time constraints to the Museum’s in-person educational experiences. They will also provide Title I students with outreach lessons focused on sound and the anatomy of the ear.
Fostering Heroes | Empowering Foster Youth Through an AZ Summer Camp
Fostering Heroes will allocate funds for Cowboy Summer Camp 2024, benefiting 400 foster youth from different group homes over a month-long period. With 20+ volunteers and staff, the program will encourage personal growth, enhance confidence, and nurture positive connections for the youth.
Homeward Bound | Passing Hope : Program for Youth Experiencing Homelessness
The grant will support their "Passing Hope” program on their campus by updating spaces and materials and adapting a flex space to be used for additional programming. This program supports the individual needs and development of children; facilitates positive parenting and family relationships and increases resiliency.
Lions Camp Tatiyee, Inc. | Special Needs Go-Cart Programming
Lions Camp Tatiyee will purchase two four-seater go-carts and five two-seater go-carts for use in a youth go-cart sports program for youth with disabilities in Arizona.
Manzanita Outreach | MO Packs for Teachers
The MO Packs for Teachers program provides boxes of hearty snacks for teachers to keep in their classroom to provide to students who need nutritional support. Manzanita Outreach will purchase nutritious snacks, packaging them in reusable boxes and making monthly deliveries.
Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation | Phoenix Children's All-Inclusive Thomas Campus Playground
Funding will contribute to the construction of an all-inclusive playground at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Thomas campus to accommodate the 240,000 children it serves annually. The playground will feature adaptive and standard equipment, so it is accessible to children of all mental and physical abilities.
Ryan House | Sponsor-A-Stay
Ryan House will support children with life-limiting or terminal illness with enriching activities in their Sponsor-A-Stay program, which offers short-term overnight respite care stays in their home-like medical facility.
Society of St. Vincent de Paul | Youth Wellness through Sports, Physicals & Character Development
The St. Vincent de Paul Virginia G. Piper Medical Clinic will work with Title 1 high schools across the Valley to complete sports physicals and expand capacity of sports physicals for at-risk youth through in partnership with Be Better. Be Different.
The Salvation Army, A California Corporation | Kroc Center-South Phoenix At-Risk Youth Outreach/Leadership Program
Funds will support opportunities to engage, educate and mentor at-risk youth living in South Phoenix. They will have access to a safe environment to participate in positive educational experiences, improve their physical health, and mentorship to become contributing individuals to society.
Treasures 4 Teachers | Primary Sponsorship for Free School Supplies through T4T on Wheels
T4T on Wheels delivers school supplies directly to teachers at their schools for free, eliminating any roadblocks to acquiring supplies for their students. The goal is to increase the number of schools served in tribal communities.
UMOM New Day Centers, Inc. | Hope and Support for Maricopa County's Homeless Youth
This funding will directly impact the children and youth in UMOM’s family shelter program through their supporting services and on-site Boys & Girls Clubs. Funding will provide safety and support to more than 500 children and youth in their efforts to break the systemic cycle of homelessness for their families.
United Cerebral Palsy of Central Arizona | Putting the “Ground” in Playground: Play Space Renovation For Children With Disabilities
UCP will use funds to replace 12-year-old artificial grass and 20-year-old rubber turf in two play space areas at its main North Valley campus. The play space areas are utilized by 300+ children, both with and without disabilities, from six weeks to 16 years old.
United Service Organizations, Inc. (USO Arizona) | Youth Programs for Children from Military Families
This will support USO Arizona operations and youth programs including Monthly Preschool Power Hour, Kids Camps, Back to School Fairs, educational holiday activities, USO baby showers and USO virtual programming.
