Brendan Tellez joined the Fiesta Sports Foundation as Football Engagement Coordinator in the spring of 2026 after serving as Seasonal Event Operations Associate for the Foundation from August 2025 to February 2026. In his role, Tellez leads the coordination of youth football clinics and supports all aspects of the Foundation's football engagement initiatives, including the Fiesta Bowl Flag Football Classic, the nation's first-ever Division I collegiate flag football tournament.
During his time as Seasonal Event Operations Associate, Tellez assisted with the planning and execution of all football engagement events and initiatives, including overseeing game operations for the inaugural Copper State Invitational Flag Football Tournament featuring eight Arizona high school teams. He managed the Foundation's high school football initiatives, coordinating 50+ volunteers and implementing activations for over 20 boys and girls football games. He also led the credentialing process for both the Rate Bowl and Vrbo Fiesta Bowl.
Prior to landing with the Foundation, Tellez served as an Event Management Specialist at Creighton University, where he facilitated the planning and execution of conferences, galas and commencement ceremonies for gatherings ranging from 50-500 attendees.
Tellez graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2023, earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice as a Lumberjack Scholars Award recipient.
