Fiesta Sports Foundation

Sean Rooney joined the Fiesta Sports Foundation as Ticketing Operations Manager in March 2026. In his role, Rooney supports daily operations of the Foundation's ticketing office, including ticket sales, budgeting and financial reconciliation.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Rooney served as assistant athletic director of ticket and Pirate Club operations at East Carolina University from June 2025 to February 2026, where he directed daily operations of the athletics ticket office and collaborated with development and marketing teams to plan ticket sales strategies. Rooney also served as director of ticket operations at the University of Houston from March 2023 to June 2025 after working as assistant director of ticket operations at the University of California from September 2017 to February 2023.

Originally from Santa Rosa, California, Rooney graduated from the University of San Francisco, earning a Master of Arts in Sport Management in 2016. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from California State University Sacramento in 2010.
