Brent Stoddard joined the Board of Directors in 2023 and is very familiar to the Fiesta Sports Foundation by virtue of his role as deputy city manager for the City of Glendale. Stoddard has interacted with the Fiesta Bowl regularly as a key liaison during his time with the City, which began when he first joined the City's Government Relations Department in 2005.
He served as the City's Government Relations Director from 2010-16 and became the Public Affairs Director in June 2016, before elevating to deputy city manager in 2019. Stoddard also served the Arizona League of Cities and Towns, the State of Arizona School Facilities Board and the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics.
