Dave Dorward is Chair-Elect of Fiesta Sports Foundation’s Board of Directors, which he joined in 2020 after serving as Yellow Jacket Committee Chair for the 2019-20 season. While committee chair, Dorward led the group to fundraise a then-record $3.42 million. Dorward became a Yellow Jacket in 2010, later being named Committee Member of the Year in 2015-16 and serving as Sales Commissioner in 2015, Lead Commissioner in 2016 and Lead Engagement Sales Commissioner in 2017. He has also served as a team liaison and chaired multiple events, including the Fiesta Bowl Parade.
Professionally, Dorward works as Senior Resident Director of Merrill Lynch's Flagship Phoenix Office and is a Managing Director with the firm. He has held a number of leadership positions with Merrill Lynch and has been named to the prestigious Forbes "Best-in-State Wealth Advisors" list for the past seven years. He is a graduate of the Scottsdale Leadership Organization (Class XXI), was previously on the Ronald Reagan Library Advisory Board Council and is a former Board Member of the Phoenix Regional Sports Commission.
A lifelong Phoenician who attended Shadow Mountain High School, Dorward graduated from Northern Arizona University. He and his wife, Jen, are the proud parents of Dayna and Dawson.
