Jeff Smith joined the organization's highest level of volunteer leadership in 2023 after serving on the Fiesta Sports Foundation Yellow Jacket Committee since 2008.
He was the Yellow Jacket Committee Chair for the 2018-19 season and recently was bestowed with the Fiesta Sports Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award for his service to the Fiesta Sports Foundation. For eight years, Smith hosted a Rate Bowl team during its stay for the annual college football bowl game played at Chase Field, including as Team Host Chair for UCLA in 2017. Smith has also served as a recruiting, sales and engagement commissioner and led the committee in fundraising for four years.
Most recently, Smith was the business execution manager and regional marketing manager for Wells Fargo. He was responsible for all local marketing activities and sponsorships for Wells Fargo's Community Bank in the Desert Mountain Region. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Smith was a managing partner for a startup business in the home improvement industry and a marketing and franchise development firm.
