Katia Jones joined the Board of Directors in April 2025.
Jones brings nearly 25 years of experience in development and constituent relations to the Board. Her expertise will assist the organization in its strategic focus on innovative fundraising efforts in support of its mission. Currently the chief executive officer for the Women’s Foundation for the State of Arizona, Jones has led the fundraising efforts for nonprofit organizations across Arizona to support and enhance the organizations’ missions through additional capital. Overseeing multi-million dollar strategies, she built campaigns and processes that led to sustainable growth. Prior to her current employer, Jones was owner and chief consulting officer at Sibyl Strategy Group where she trained boards and staff in fundraising practices to increase revenue streams. At Free Arts for Abused Children in Arizona she led the board on its first fundraising campaign. Jones earned her Master of Business Administration from Arizona State’s William P. Carey School of Business and an undergraduate degree from University of Georgia
