For nearly 50 years, the Fiesta Bowl Parade has entertained millions of fans with its march through the streets of Central Phoenix. In fact, it is the most-attended single-day event annually in the state of Arizona, with more than 100,000 lining the city streets to enjoy.
Â
Celebrated Grand Marshals such as Charles Barkley, Jerry Colangelo, Randy Johnson, Cal Ripken, Jr., Chuck Yeager, brave firefighters, Olympic gold medalists and history-making astronauts have led the Parade and its pageantry of brilliantly colored floats, giant balloons, equestrian units, specialty and charitable groups, local celebrities and marching bands.
Â
With the months of advance preparations required to stage such an event and the uncertain local ordinances and allowances over the next few months, we have made the difficult, but necessary, decision to postpone the 2020-21 Fiesta Bowl Parade from January 2 to Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 9 am.
Â
This date change will allow us to continue to have streets filled with festive fans, full participation from our entries that showcase our community and put on a performance that you will not want to miss.
Â
As always, if you can't join us in person, the Fiesta Bowl Parade will be televised live on 3TV Arizona's Family.
Â
Thank you for your flexibility during these unique times and we will celebrate with you on April 10! Stay tuned for the opportunity to apply to be in the Parade and the announcement of our theme.
