SCOTTSDALE, AZ – Having donated millions of dollars annually to nonprofit organizations across the state of Arizona, Fiesta Bowl Charities officially opened its 2023-24 grant cycle today, with applications being accepted through Tuesday, May 23, at 4 pm.

"Making grants to Arizona nonprofits who perform incredibly meaningful work across the state in the areas of youth, sports and education is a core part of fulfilling our Fiesta Bowl mission of providing charitable resources for our community," said

The Fiesta Bowl Charities Grant Cycle offers funding at three levels: Spirit of the Fiesta Bowl Grant ($100,000), Touchdown Grant ($50,000) and Field Goal Grant ($25,000). All proposals must provide services within the Fiesta Bowl's core pillars of youth, sports and education, and all applicants must be a 501©(3) organization. Additionally, 100 percent of the organization's project or program must serve residents within the Arizona geographic boundaries.
At the conclusion of the application period on May 23, a charitable giving committee consisting of Fiesta Bowl Board of Directors, Yellow Jacket Committee Members, Ambassadors and staff will begin the evaluation process. Last season, Arizona's nonprofits that received funding through the Fiesta Bowl Charities Grant Cycle impacted more than 1,000,000 Arizonans, including more than 614,000 youth. Projects that were funded through the grants ranged from purchasing youth-focused outdoor activity equipment and providing literacy instruction to students to bed builds and replacing outdated EKG machines.
