It's Time to Fiesta
It wouldn't be college football without a proper tailgate party and who doesn't love fun, food, and music before a big game? Get ready to join tens of thousands of other college football fans at the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Fan Fest Pregame Party. The Fan Fest Pregame Party, a non-ticketed block party open to fans of all ages, will take place on Maryland Ave., just north of State Farm Stadium.
To celebrate hosting the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl, the Fiesta Sports Foundation is raising the bar for championship-caliber entertainment, announcing a dynamic lineup of pregame performances, highlighted by a Fan Fest performance by Arizona native and acclaimed country music superstar Dierks Bentley on the Vrbo Sound Stage. All the action takes place on Thursday, January 8, starting at 12:30 p.m. outside State Farm Stadium.
The multi-platinum singer/songwriter will take the spotlight on the first-ever Vrbo Sound Stage for a multi-song extended set that is accessible by guests attending Fan Fest. Bentley is one of country music's most celebrated performers, with eight No. 1 albums, more than 20 No. 1 singles, more than 9.5 billion streams and multiple awards show trophies, including the Country Music Association Awards and Academy of Country Music Awards.
The Vrbo Sound Stage will be the centerpiece of Vrbo Fiesta Bowl Fan Fest, which features live music, interactive games, sponsor activations, food and beverage offerings and family-friendly entertainment leading up to kickoff.
Fan Fest will be the gathering point for all fans before entering the stadium for the big game. Featuring food trucks, tailgate games, bars and more, Fan Fest will serve as an exciting gathering point for fans. Along with activations from Modelo, Heluva Good!, Rally Cry and USAF, all fans will have the opportunity to take a photo with the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl trophy.
No tailgate would be complete without great food and beverages, and Fan Fest will have plenty of options. Fan Fest will be sure to captivate the attention of fans of all ages and get the crowd ready for a great College Football Playoff Semifinal.
Bag Policy & Restrictions
- State Farm Stadium enforces a Clear Bag Policy to enhance safety and streamline entry procedures. Only clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12" are permitted, including clear backpacks and fanny packs. Guests are urged not to bring bags, but those adhering to the policy may carry approved clear bags or small non-clear bags within specified dimensions, subject to search at stadium gates.
- Each fan may carry one bag of clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" -OR- a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc or similar).
- Fans may also carry a small clutch or wallet 4.5" x 6.5" with or without a handle or strap, subject to search.
