The Fiesta Bowl continues to work through the COVID-19 pandemic in conjunction with health and government officials. The health, safety and the well-being of our supporters is at the forefront of all our decisions as we implement the most up-to-date protocols for the health and safety of our patrons, partners, staff and volunteers.
 
In this ever-changing landscape we count on our dedicated staff, Board of Directors, Yellow Jackets, Ambassadors and volunteers who are committed to adapt new and innovative ways to host world-class events and support those in need.

Fiesta Bowl COVID-19 News

December 3 - PlayStation Fiesta Bowl Fan Attendance Update

The Fiesta Bowl Organization has announced that the PlayStation® Fiesta Bowl on January 2, 2021, will be played without fans in attendance at the stadium, other than immediate families of the teams participating in the game.
Based on recommendations from the Arizona Department of Health Services, the local jurisdictions decided not to allow fans at this year's game in efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19..


September 18 - Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade Moved to April 10

With the months of advance preparations required to stage such an event and the uncertain local ordinances and allowances over the next few months, we have made the difficult, but necessary, decision to postpone the 2020-21 Desert Financial Fiesta Bowl Parade from January 2 to Saturday, April 10, 2021, at 9 am.


September 16 - Fiesta Bowl Charities launches Fiesta Bowl Community Golf Classic

The Fiesta Bowl Community Golf Classic is a one-of-a-kind tournament that assists Arizona nonprofits in their fundraising efforts, using our events experience to stage an event where charities keep the proceeds.

With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the lives of Arizonans, 17 leading sports properties across the state have formed AZSportsTogetherâ„¢ in a collective effort to provide emergency relief funding.

PlayStation Fiesta Bowl

All individuals attending the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl must follow all Fiesta Bowl and State Farm Stadium guidelines, including health and safety policies, and posted instructions while in the stadium and on stadium grounds. Failure to comply will result in warnings from stadium security. Individuals will be given two warnings and if they are approached a third time they will be ejected from the stadium and not permitted reentry.
 
All individuals attending the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl understand that COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place regardless of precautions that may be taken.  Please take caution as senior citizens and those with underlying medical conditions are at higher risk. By attending the game, entering the stadium and stadium premises, you voluntarily assume any and all risks related to and associated with exposure to COVID-19 and other infections and / or communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illness and agrees to all other terms and rules set forth at fiestabowl.org/COVID.   
 
Parking passes are mobile so no physical paper parking pass is required upon arrival. An empty parking stall must be left between vehicles and tailgating is only permitted within ticketed pods. Oregon family members will park in the West parking lot and enter Gate 1. Iowa State family members will park in East parking lot and enter Gate 3. Game tickets have been assigned to allow for physical distancing and ensure that ticket holders remain in their social pods. Guests must remain in their ticketed seat location and follow all signage including floor decals promoting physical distancing at stadium entrances, restrooms and concession stands. CDC approved face masks must be worn at all times except when actively eating or drinking in your seating location (https://www.statefarmstadium.com/plan-your-visit/covid19info/welcome-back-to-state-farm-stadium). If a guest becomes symptomatic while inside State Farm Stadium, they must report to the Designated Isolation Rooms at Sections 103 and 124. 
 
Guests are encouraged to follow the following protocols to maintain the safety of themselves and those around them:
  • Wash and sanitize hands often
  • Cough into your elbow
  • Refrain from touching your face
  • Maintain 6’ from others during interactions when possible
  • Stay home if you feel ill or fall into a risk category for the COVID-19 virus
